Christian radio personality Harold Camping is predicting that the world will come to an end this Saturday. Will it be by asteroids? Zombies?
Brock Frabbiele’s money’s on a bomb.
The singer/songwriter and graphic designer, as well as member of punk rock group TheCore., penned a catchy end-of-the-world anthem (long before Camping’s prediction) called “Seize the Carp,” which will appear down the line on a planned solo album.
And in honor of our impending doom, Punks in Vegas is proud to present Frabbiele in a Stripped Down Session performing Carp, filmed last month at Alternate Reality Comics in Las Vegas.
If you only have time to hear one more song before the rapture hits, make sure it’s this one.
Of course, after the world doesn’t actually end, make sure to check out Brock and the rest of TheCore. on Sunday, May 29 at The Bunkhouse with Tiltwheel, Off With Their Heads, and Spanish Gamble for a Punk Rock Bowling late show, and again at First Friday on June 3 with Holding Onto Sound (performing their self-titled debut album in its entirety) and At Sixes and Sevens at the Gypsy Den.
