This Holiday season, Punks in Vegas is teaming up with some of our favorite musicians to raise money and awareness for music education with special Holiday editions of the Stripped Down Sessions.
On December 20th, we will release all the holiday session audio tracks as a downloadable EP, and we ask that if you like what you hear, you follow the link to donate to the Manilow Music Foundation, a non-profit organization that donates instruments and materials to school music programs. Music education is something very important to all of us here at Punks in Vegas and we’re happy to be able to help out this year.
Our latest holiday session comes from Austin Jeffers and Adam Blasco of local pop punk band Last Call, who released their latest EP Stay on the Outside earlier this year on Mightier Than Sword Records. Here they perform an original holiday song called “The Duke’s Real Name Was Marion Morrison.”
According to Austin, “Music education is the only thing that got me through high school, and Last Call is a huge supporter of keeping that sort of education in schools because it betters you as a person, makes you more confident about who you are and allows you to express yourself.”
