Alaska is about to get a lot more worldly. Next month, the local post-hardcore/screamo band will be getting as far away from Trump as possible (who can blame them?) as they embark on a European tour with Montreal’s Gulfer. They’ll see London, they’ll see France, they’ll put their bum on the Swedish. It all sounds very exciting.
But before they hit the road, they’ll be supporting fellow locals Narrowed on that band’s tour kickoff show. The show takes place this Thursday, July 14, at Hard Hat Lounge and also features Southtowne Lanes from Oregon and I Love Your Lifestyle from the aforementioned Sweden.
For all of our European friends who haven’t listened to Alaska – they released the very excellent Shrine last fall. Check it out on bandcamp.
