Vegas’ Extreme Thing Sports and Music Festival has added a number of musicians and performers to the March 31st lineup. Psychopathic records hip hop duo and surefire juggalo draw TWIZTED have been announced for the Verizon Stage, filling the spot left when Everlast dropped off the show. Politically-charged punk rockers ANTI-FLAG and San Diego deathcore band Carnifex have also been added to the festival’s lineup and will be appearing on the Vitamin Water Stage.
These bands join the already announced lineup of The Used, Underoath, Less than Jake, Unwritten Law, The Wonder Years, Polar Bear Club, Abandon All Ships, Transit, A Loss for Words, Mickey Avalon, Zebrahead, This Romantic Tragedy, Falling in Reverse, Of Mice & Men, Black Dhalia Murder, All Shall Perish, The Word Alive and Sleeping with Sirens.
In addition to the national acts, seven local bands have been added after winning XPOZ’s Battle of the Fans competition: Greater Depths, These Lying Eyes, A Minute Before Dawn, Habit, Tales of the Grotesque, The Runaway Lives, and Impurity of Mriya.
On top of the music, Las Vegas MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) has been added to this year’s Extreme Thing, with up to 17 amateur matches taking place between noon and 6 p.m. and MMA star Randy Couture on site signing autographs in the MMA Village.
