Victorville, CA punks Face to Face dropped by the House of Blues July 5 for the final date of their most recent tour. On June 1st, I checked out the Vegas stop of the Summer Sickness tour with Authority Zero, Ballyhoo!, and Versus the World. I’d never been to Time Out Sports Bar before, and I was surprised to find a really cool space with a great sunken stage area. Given last week’s tragic events at the Boston Marathon, the April 19 Dropkick Murphys show at the House of Blues Las Vegas seemed especially cathartic. Just two hours prior to the show beginning, news broke that the second bombing suspect was captured.
