I’ve got a soft spot for Matt Salkeld from when he played guitar in Black Sails, Western Shores. He is currently working on some equally-great acoustic tunes which he played across the west as part of the Drunks Go Acoustic Tour. We filmed this after Matt’s set at the Vegas stop of the tour, behind the Paradise Poker Club (which based on this, may also have some sort of black market spool business.) Andrew W.K.’s 2003 show at the Huntridge Theatre was one of the best shows I’ve ever been to, but I also thought it would be the last time I saw the party rocker. A week after the rest of the venues for the 2012 Vans Warped Tour were revealed, we finally have confirmation on where the Vegas show will be held. The Vegas stop, which will take place on June 20th, will be held at the Luxor Hotel Parking Lot. I’ve wanted to film a Stripped Down Session with Jared Stinson of Sic Waiting for a while now but scheduling conflicts kept getting in the way. The wait was worth it.
