The folkier side is where my tastes often lie so it should come as no surprise that my favorite acts of the festival were all acoustic performances. This show, which was basically an unofficial Revival Tour show and featured Chuck Ragan, Former Avail singer Tim Barry, Dwarves frontman Blag Dahlia and 7 Seconds founder Kevin Seconds. While all four artists put on great sets, Barry was my favorite of the night. He take requests, told stories and moved the microphone to the middle of the sold out Beauty Bar floor for part of his set. The always amazing Chuck Ragan, who along with Jon Gaunt on fiddle and the surprisingly un-mustachioed Joe Ginsberg on upright bass belted out songs from his three solo albums.
