Images: Daytrader, Caravels March 30,2011 at Meatheads

Long nights, cramped quarters, and unhealthy food are staples of the touring band, so it was disappointing though understandable when Daytrader announced that touring openers Seahaven had to regrettably cancel their March 30, 2011 appearance at Meatheads Bar.

Caravels, the show’s other openers, had their health crisis when drummer George hurt his back coughing. Not wanting to give Daytrader solo band status, the group reworked a number of their songs into ambient, stripped down versions to great success.

Daytrader had a tough job following such an unreal performance from Caravels by luckily lived up to the task. Frontman Tym B has such a cool, unique voice and it sounds just as good live.
