Life is Shit, the annual “shitty music fest for shitty people,” is returning to The Dive on Friday, Sept. 23.
The event (which is sure to be a favorite of Mr. Poopybutthole) takes place in stark contrast to the Life is Beautiful megalith, and will feature SadGirl (Los Angeles), Total Ghost (Berlin), DANGERBONER, The Scoundrels, Same Sex Mary, Jack Evan Johnson (Nashville), Alaska, The Quitters, Hard Pipe Hitters, Grim Reefer, Headwinds, Go Bold, HIDDEN LEVELS, Chandelle (Nashville), The Prettiest, and Tito Mojito and The New Conquerors.
In addition to featuring great touring acts and some of the best bands Vegas has to offer, Life is Shit typically also features a shitty car show, vendor booths, food trucks and more. New to the event this year is a zine, which is also part coloring book that festival goers can color in at the Farts and Craps table (yes, you read that correctly).
Starting promptly at 4:20 p.m., Life is Shit is 21+ and free, though donations of $5-$10 are suggested and appreciated.
