Our pals over at New Noise Magazine are streaming When I Die, I’m Taking You with Me, the debut full length from Las Vegas punk band Mercy Music. You can listen to that stream here.
For the uninitiated, Mercy Music is the latest project featuring longtime collaborators Brendan Scholz and Jarred Cooper (Deadhand, Lydia Vance) with drummer Michael McGuinness. If you’re a fan of The Mr. T Experience, Sugar or Cheap Girls, you owe it to yourself to check this out.
The album is currently available digitally on iTunes and Amazon and will be available on CD and vinyl at their Sept. 30 release show at the Bunkhouse, with Hüsker Dü’s Bob Mould. Tickets for that show can be purchased here. Can’t pick up the album in person? Pre-order it now on the Squid Hat Records website.
Come hear some of these new songs live tonight at a Punks In Vegas/Pulsar Presents show at The Dive with The Bombpops, Direct Hit! and The Forget Me Nows. You can buy tickets for that show here or at the door for $10.
