Scream the Lie announce indefinite hiatus

Local metalcore/post-hardcore band Scream the Lie has announced that they will be going on an indefinite hiatus following the band’s October 19th show at the Eagle Hall. Details for the final show can be found on Facebook.

According to the band:

Tonight, we announce the beginning of an indefinite hiatus for Scream the Lie. We have been a band for 4 years, and have had the pleasure of working with some of the best people Vegas had to offer…and because of that, we have done things that some never experience in a lifetime. In a quick version, we have decided to take a break for a while and see where we all end up in the future. THIS IS NOT A DEFINITE END; merely a proportional break to recollect ourselves and explore other musical interests.

The band also released a video explaining the break, which you can watch here.

Scream the Lie formed in 2010 and during their time time together, the band has shared the stage with The Word Alive, Born Of Osiris, Crown the Empire, I, The Breather, Oh Sleeper, Decoder and were apart of the 2013 Extreme Thing Festival, which was headlined by Asking Alexandria and New Found Glory. The band’s latest single “Menace” is currently available as a name-your-price download on the group’s bandcamp page.
