I never thought I’d see Brendan Kelly, Neil Hennessy, Dan Andriano and Dave Hause conga line off a stage to the tune of Paul Simon’s “You Can Call Me Al” but yesterday’s The Falcon tour kickoff show changed all that (for the better).
I met up with Brendan Kelly in back of the Beauty Bar a few hours before the show to record three acoustic songs, two from The Falcon and a previously unreleased song all about hugs that will be on the next Wandering Birds release. Good grief, these songs are good.
