We did it, we finally filmed a session with Joey Cape! We’d been wanting to film with the Lagwagon frontman for quite some time, and we were lucky enough to get a bonus and film with his tourmate Walt Hamburger as well.
We met up at a hotel before their Beauty Bar gig to film three acoustic songs – “Burden of Proof/Reign,” which comes from Lagwagon’s Hang, “Moral Compass” from Cape’s Stitch Puppy and Hamburger’s “Three Tattoos,” which you can get from his latest One Week Records release.
Joey Cape fans will get another chance to see the singer/songwriter live, this time with the rest of the Lagwagon gang. The punk rockers will be playing a gig at Fremont Country Club in Vegas on 11/11. Details for that gig can be found on Facebook and the rest of the tour dates can be found on the Fat Wreck website.
