Seattle’s Random Orbits was actually the first band I ever asked to do a Stripped Down Session. Scheduling didn’t pan out the first time around, so I was thrilled when they finally returned to Vegas and we were able to set up a shoot with them. Frontman Steve Smith and [now former] guitarist Tyler Gibson play “In The Dreams I Can Remember” from their Heart Attacks! EP and Smith goes solo for “Leaving Redmond” from the recently released Evergreen and new track “My Humble Introduction.” With the sun rapidly setting and wind blowing like crazy, these were filmed near Yayo Taco before their July 12 show.
