I first came across New York pop punk band Pentimento when my pals Last Call played some shows with them back in 2011. After three years with no Vegas date ever cropping up, I was beginning to think I’d never get the chance to see them.
Luckily the guys ended up here as part of the Vegas Music Summit, playing a set at Backstage Bar before donning Pilgrim outfits and playing a second set as the “Full Effect” portion of Reggie and the Full Effect.
We met up a couple hours before the gig to film three songs – “Just Friends,” Any Minute Now” and “The Bridge” – behind the El Cortez in downtown Vegas. Special thanks goes out to local singer/songwriter Jesse Pino for helping me out on this shoot (check out his music here). Also shout out to that random bottle of Bud Ice that ended up in the shot.
