We’re all pretty big fans of Henderson-based post-hardcore band Caravels here at Punks in Vegas, so we’re way stoked that more people than ever before will get to experience their enthralling live show on their recently announced tour with Touche Amore, Mewithoutyou and Seahaven (see below for dates).
As a primer for those who haven’t yet seen them, we have two live videos for you today. The first (filmed by Emily Matview) comes from the band’s January 5th, 2013 set at The Knight Hall, playing the haunting “Hundred Years” for one of the first times. The song would later appear on the band’s debut full length Lacuna. The second video (shot by Tyler Newton) is of the band performing classic “Snake Plissken” at a house show in early 2013. The song originally appeared on their 2009 EP The Earthling Sessions.
