The lineup for the 2012 Extreme Thing festival was announced today. The festival, which began life in 2001 and is put on by Clark County Parks and Recreation, will feature The Used, Less Than Jake, The Wonder Years, Transit, Polar Bear Club, A Loss For Words, Underoath, Sleeping with Sirens, Alesana, Of Mice & Men, The Word Alive, Black Dahlia Murder, All Shall Perish, Everlast, Falling In Reverse, Unwritten Law, Mickey Avalon, Zebrahead, Abandon All Ships and This Romantic Tragedy as well as a DUBSTEP stage featuring Ryle, Ashtrobot, Splitbreed, MikeAttack, TeenWolf, BizE and Rize&Quiet. Three more bands will be announced at a later date.
Local bands are still vying for a spot on the XPOZ local’s stage. You can see the full list of bands competing and vote for your favorite at the XPOZ website through January 20th.
